Tim Nasional (Timnas) Indonesia pada 2014 lolos hingga perempat final Piala Dunia di Brasil. Gabriel Omar (Zendhy Zaen) jadi bintang dengan status top skor dengan modal 6 gol. Kehidupan Gabriel Omar pun berubah, termasuk seluruh orang-orang yang ada disekitarnya. Namun, keberhasilan pengelolaan industri sepak bola nasional, tidak melulu soal kisah manis yang terjadi di dalamnya. Gabriel Omar sebagai pesepak bola nomor satu yang selalu menjadi buah bibir media dan masyarakat berhadapan dengan keadaan amat kompleks

Bambang Pamungkas (Ibnu Jamil) yang pulang dari Eropa untuk membela kembali Jakarta Metropolitan, jadi mentor Gabriel Omar. Gabriel Omar juga harus berjuang menjaga kepercayaan dari bapaknya, Edi Baskoro (Mathias Muchus). Namun, dilema justru datang dari orang terdekatnya sekaligus penemu bakat besar sang bintang, Coach Dimas Bramantyo (Ray Sahetapy), yang merupakan Manajer Jakarta Metropolitan. Dilema lain datang dari Andien Zulaikha (Tika Putri), yang merupakan sahabat kecil Gabriel Omar

Film ini juga menampilkan sejumlah pesepak bola pro Indonesia baik lokal maupun asing. Ada Atep dan Shahar Ginanjar (Persib Bandung),  Hasim Kipuw, Joko Sasongko, dan Dedi Kusnandar (Arema Indonesia), Ramdhani Lestaluhu (Sriwijaya FC), Andritany (eks Persija Jakarta), Ruben Sanadi (Persipura Jayapura), Casimir Bruno (eks PSS Sleman), plus nama-nama tenar di Liga Indonesia yang lain. Ada juga eks bintang timnas Rochi Putiray
